Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during my first physiotherapy appointment?

First, a thorough assessment is completed which includes your health history, goals, analyzing posture and movement, as well as range of movement, strength, nerve function, and joint mobility. The assessment determines the source of pain or movement impairment and thus guides treatment. Treatment options are then discussed prior to starting your recovery process.

What do I need to bring to an appointment?

You will be asked to bring either a tank top or shorts depending on the treatment area. If you forget, we have gowns or use sheets to cover if needed.

Do you direct bill to insurance companies?

Yes. We direct bill to many insurance companies. Please call our office to see if we can direct bill to your insurance company.

Do you work with clients who qualify for physiotherapy with WCB or MPIC?

Yes. All we need is your claim number to get the process started.
